What You've Missed (catching up to now :)

Posted by Anna :) Well, we are back after a brief, unintentional absence. Life has been a down-hill skiing slope, going faster and faster as the days fly by! But, thanks to our parents for having taught us to make the most of each moment, even spontaneous spots of time squeezed in here and there, we have still been able to capture some precious memories, and thought we would share a few with you. Several months ago we were able to get a pass to the Science museum, and have enjoyed putting it to use. You can see here the different interests and responses through their expressions, but Papa is a captivating teacher, and this was right up his ally with electrical conductors and experimental inventions, so the crew had a great time exploring under his exuberayting leadership.  Over the summer, some of the girls had an experience with head lice... not necessarily the most exciting journey, but definitely some bonding time as they all shared the responsibility of combing e...

Those Treasured Times

By Elisabeth Make new friends, and keep the old; One is silver and the other gold . The Lord gave me a wonderful opportunity to visit a good friend, Hannah, and her family during a couple weeks this summer. It was a wonderful time of sharing what God is doing and encouraging each other in our walk with Christ. Here are a few pictures of our visit! Taking a couple little extra friends along to the park at the beach was an adventure as we had  to find several things listed for the scavenger hunt. Below, we looked for a few rolly-polies.  The dock was a favorite plac...

Those chords go deep!  Anna and Elisabeth were able to spend some time with the Burnett sisters this past weekend. It had been about eight years since the last time we had spent time in their home... WAY TOO LONG! But what a blessing it was to catch-up, and strengthen the ties of friendship.  We pray that the Lord continues to draw each of us closer to Himself, working in us that which is well pleasing in His sight so that we can be used for His glo...
