Our Family Mission Statement

We are a real family seeking to serve a real and living God. Our desire and mission is to magnify and glorify God in our everyday life at home, church and abroad. Our goal is to help families understand what their purpose and design is in regards to the family; recognize the enemy for who he is and what he is doing; and to point families, both saved and unsaved, to Christ as to become living pictures of Christ and His bride and of God and His children. As families are strengthened the church will be strengthened, therefore, being a brighter light to a dark and hurting world.

Meet Our Family

 Ron and Tanya
Ron and Tanya met in May of 1989 while Ron was stationed in Tennessee with the navy. They fell in love and, through following the direction of the Lord and seeking wise counsel, were married on July 11, 1992, and are deeper in love then they ever were before! They thoroughly enjoy being with their children in singing, traveling, exploring nature, family devotions and just interacting with each other.

Anna ~ age 24
Playing the violin and piano has been a joy of mine for a long time, and I love being part of helping others discover the talents and abilities God has given them through teaching both instruments! When I am not teaching, babysitting, practicing, running errands, cooking, talking with my younger siblings, washing dishes, or updating the blog, I'm often found reading, writing or experimenting with photography. :) My siblings are my best friends and I love watching them mature into young men and women with a heart for the Lord as well as seeing all their many different skills and abilities emerge and develop. There’s no other place I’d rather be than with the ones who know me best and love me anyway!

Nathan and Elisabeth Radfar
Nathan and Elisabeth were united in in marriage in November of 2016. They are happily married and growing more in admiration and love for each other each day. We are excited to see what the Lord has for them as they embark on this new journey of life together, seeking to be an encouragement and a light to those that the Lord brings into their lives.

Josiah ~ age 20
I enjoy playing the piano, hiking in the outdoors, flying and observing God’s creation. I have attained my private pilot's license, and am studying to become an aviation maintenance technician. I enjoy spending time with my family.

Laura ~ age 18
Interacting with young children brings me joy, and when I get an opportunity :) I enjoy baking or cooking. I relish heart-to-heart talks and just plain think time. I love being around family and friends and spending time in God's beautiful creation, including working with animals. I like learning from older, more experienced siblings, and the Word of God is inspiring to me. I am volunteering at a children's hospital, and I am looking forward to getting some medical training in the near future.

Christina ~ age 17
I love to play the piano for relaxation and personal enjoyment, and I enjoy using it as a tool to encourage and uplift others in life! I have taken a lot of the kitchen duties on as well as assisting in different areas such as home schooling. I enjoy helping to take care of children and interacting with my family! l like photography and am excited to grow in that area even more. I definitely love being apart of the family God has blessed me with and am seeking to deepen my relationship with Him and the ones He has placed in my life.

Charity ~ age 16
I enjoy baking, and helping in the kitchen. I want to be a blessing to others and I seek to strengthen my relationship with my family and most importantly the Lord. I love singing, interacting with people, and just being with my family and friends!

Joshua ~ age 14
I play the piano and the violin. I enjoy hiking with Papa and the others and participating in other outdoor activities! I enjoy wood working and being a handy man around the house. I am working on getting my private pilot certificate.

Joanna ~ age 12
I like baking, holding  and playing with Daniel and Amanda, feeding the animals, going places with my family, playing the piano and the violin, and having birthdays.

Caleb ~ age 11
I like to climb trees, swim, dream about hunting with Papa and Joshua, and I like to play cars with Laura, Josiah, and Joseph. I also like fishing with our whole family. Playing tag is one of my favorites, and watching others read the Bible is really encouraging to me! I really enjoy studying science as well.

Joseph ~ age 10
I like to be with Mama and Papa, go hiking, wrestle and play ball, as well as play soccer. I am learning from my older brothers and sisters and can hardly wait to explore life. I am learning what it is to be on the 'family team’.

Sarah ~ age 8
I like eating vegetables! I also like playing outside with Caleb, Joseph and Carolyn, and playing house with my baby dolls. I love to sing and my favorite songs are “Joy to the World” and “Jesus Loves Me”. I really enjoy hearing Mama sing to me!

Carolyn ~ age 6
I am quite the little homemaker: very clean, neat and orderly and try to keep everyone else in line with those qualities (which can be a little challenging at times!), but in my spare time I like playing house with Sarah and Amanda and playing outside! I also like learning to help in the kitchen!  And I love to sing heartily!

Daniel ~ age 5
I am a little angel! People say that I have Downs Syndrome, but that doesn’t bother me.
I love to smile and laugh with any of my siblings who will hold me and talk with me or read me a book, and I am learning how to say lots of words. My younger sister, Amanda and I are finding new things all the time -- some of our findings are making great stories, others don't have such a comforting consequence. I don't like change, but am (hesitantly) getting used to trying new things in moderation. But my siblings are good about making sure that I am alright, and I know I'm am well loved by my whole family!

Amanda ~ age 3
I am full of life and personality! I love to smile and learn new things! I am learning how to count as well as learning the alphabet. I love to help in any way that I can, because that's how I learn best! I like to sing, and partner with my older siblings in tackling household duties, and when my schedule is free, I enjoy playing house with my older sisters, playing outside, and learning about airplanes with my brothers!

Abigail ~ age 1
I'm a little cutie that my brothers and sisters just can't ignore! I like the attention my brothers and sisters have to offer! I enjoy seeing and participating in the activities that keep everyone together. I know I'm the youngest in this family so far, but that does not keep me from having a voice of opinion in the workings of life around here. It's great fun being in a large family!

  1. Dear Linzey family,

Each one of you has been a special blessing and encouragement in my life the past two years. It has been such a joy to get to know you as a family and as individuals. Your evident love for God's Word and His ways strengthens all who come in contact with you. Thank you for honoring the Lord and blessing others (I speak for myself in particular, for I have often been a recipient :). May He continue to be gracious to you!

    With love from Alaska,

    Naomi

  4. I love the description of each family member, whom I love so very much! Your smiles and happy faces make me happy, too! Grandpapa and I pray for you all often, that he would protect, guide and prosper you, and especially use each of you to build His kingdom using the particular gifts and talents He has given you. God bless each and every one!

  5. I am so happy to see such a loving, godly family team. Being a team in a family, especially one so large, is very important. So many children don't know how to be a team member of anything, and wouldn't even want too. I am blessed to know that there are still families who care about God and the role He should have in our family. God guide you all and keep you strong in Him, and His love.
