Hitched for 21 years! :)

Image
Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Linzey first pronouncement made 21 years ago today! Through the direction and leading of the Lord, and with the full blessing of both sets of parents,  Ron & Tanya Linzey were united in holy matrimony on the memorable date of  Saturday, July 11, 1992 at 5:40 pm  A lot has happened within the last 21 years, and up to this date thirteen members have been added to this family. We are so grateful for the Godly example Papa and Mama have striven to be to us children, and we hope and pray that the Godly legacy that they are passing to us will be carried through us to our children and our children's children and generations to come!                                                                         Now they're more in love then ever befor...

Independence Day

Oh, say, does that star spangled banner yet wave… "WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF-EVIDENT, THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, THAT THEY ARE ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR WITH CERTAIN UNALIENABLE RIGHTS. THAT AMONG THESE ARE LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS."       Daniel's First Bite Episode                                                     Fixing the Mini Van  Mean while the guys were involved with the van... Afternoon picnic at the park! A picnic at the park with some friends was planned for the evening, so we all headed to a park downtown for the rest of the afternoon. We had a grand time of fun interaction and activity!  Speed Volleyball being the main focus was the highlight for us all!

First Haircut :)

Image
Yea! Daniel finally got his much needed first haircut! Papa likes to be the one to give the first official cut, but we're glad Mama did the rest :)  Sweet, innocent, little darling baby boy! He did so good, but it was a whole family effort!  The very first snip! Congratulations Dan!  Then Mama took over :)  Daniel was oblivious… entertaining himself with a favorite toy :)  "Humm, should fall asleep or think of something else to grab?" We needed some help holding still, so big sister came to the rescue :)   Well, Mama couldn't get it all with just the scissors, so we transferred to the side of the fish tank for the rest so Mama could get the buzzers, and Daniel could have something else to look at.  Hold still, buddy, we're almost done!  Just a little bit longer... Hurray! We made it! And doesn't he look so sharp?!  Good Job Daniel, and Thank you Mama!

An Irish Wedding

Image
So, back down to Texas we headed for Mama's youngest brother's wedding. The Lord provided some wonderful accommodations for our family over the weekend through some wonderful, long time friends of ours. We had encouraging fellowship, and great food, thank you to the Dalton family! It was a very relaxing family vacation and visit to friends while we were there for the wedding.  The wedding theme was Irish, so all the groom's men wore kilts and the bride's maids wore an Irish maiden outfit. The Mothers of the bride and groom were dressed as queens, and Grandpapa took on the resemblance of an Irish Captain! The wedding was on the side of a lake in the evening, and the whole picture was stunning!   Our family got there quite a bit before the wedding, so we jumped in and helped as much as we could, while snapping a few fun shots in between :) Our Dear Aunt Rhoda with me, Sarah, Carolyn and Daniel Elisabeth and Laura having fun visiting with cousins ...
