Or, maybe, you were simply secluded in a circumstance and thought that He was unaware of your whereabouts. Here is a poem our grandfather wrote which shares a message that I pray will turn your eyes upon our Father--for He does, indeed, see you right where you are. Recently, our family payed a visit to the Omniplex--the adventurous museum of science. It was a great avenue for learning, as well as family bonding..and just plain fun. Joanna, Joseph and Caleb experiment with the forces of water and floatation devices. Anna and Joshua discover the amazing function of these unique dishes into which they  could speak quiet messages to each other and be clearly heard across the room.  Sarah, trying out some computerized experiments. Joanna studying into the details of creation. Daniel delightfully discovered the mirror-maze and "met many 'new' friends" :) Caleb and Daniel--still enjoying the water Joseph, trying out the pulley system Laura and Daniel enjoying the puppet-show corner A group of us became quite enthralled with this simple, yet complex system of pulleys...and teamwork. Joshua, with some helpful hints from Papa, did an excellent job coaching us in  stacking two boxes...

Here are a few last pictures from our Christmas weekend that I haven't gotten around to posting until now. I know it's already into the new year, but may you be reminded that the gift of giving is our's to be treasured all year through! There's not many extra corners left in this house, so the top of the cedar wardrobe was the popular pick of the week for stashing Christmas gifts. Since we were not able to send out Christmas cards this year, we are 'sending' one to you on our blog. By Elisabeth  This whole season, from early November through late December, is filled with celebrations...celebrations of God's abundant blessings, celebrations of His Light and Love that was shared with mankind when He came so long ago, as well as celebrations of a few birthdays! Here is a catchup of our celebrations so far.  ~ Happy Thanksgiving ~ Thanksgiving was celebrated with Mama's folks down south. It was such a blessing to relax and treasure the family God has surrounded us with. This go-cart was a gift to us nieces and nephews years ago when we big ones were very small.
