Our Family Mission Statement

We are a real family seeking to serve a real and living God. Our desire and mission is to magnify and glorify God in our everyday life at home, church and abroad. Our goal is to help families understand what their purpose and design is in regards to the family; recognize the enemy for who he is and what he is doing; and to point families, both saved and unsaved, to Christ as to become living pictures of Christ and His bride and of God and His children. As families are strengthened the church will be strengthened, therefore, being a brighter light to a dark and hurting world.

Beautiful In His Time

     Six months ago, two separate people whose families had been close acquaintances for nearly two decades, began praying, each unbeknownst to the other, that God might see fit to bring glory to Christ and edification to others around by uniting their lives if it would be according to His will. For four months, each one with their parents were being deepened in their faith and trust in an Almighty God, while growing with desire, as well as being brought to valuable points of surrender. Just when the time was right, the Lord allowed our parents to meet together and desired intentions were expressed. That led into a tender courtship of correspondence through letters and visits, as a new and blossoming relationship sprang up. After two months, Nathan proposed to Elisabeth, asking her to join his life and be his wife...and she said YES!

"Is anything too hard for the LORD?
At the time appointed I will..."
(Genesis 18:14a)

"I being in the way, the Lord led me..."
(Genesis 24:27b)

"And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod
whom I shall choose, shall blossom."
(Numbers 17:5a)

"Hath He said, and shall He not do it?
Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?"
(Numbers 23:19b)

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall
give thee the desires of thine heart."
(Psalm 37:4)

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint."
(Isaiah 40:31)

Daily Life

It's been a little while since we've shared a tie-bit of life over here. So, here are a few pics of what's been keeping us busy...

The Omniplex, a favorite place for extra learning as well as just plain fun.

After school and chores, most days of the week are filled with interaction with friends and neighbors.

Soccer, especially, is a frequent sport.

~ Happy Mother's Day! ~

A mother's love so very dear,
A mother's love is always near,
A mother's love that soothes and cares;
We're blessed with Mother's love and prayers.

"Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord,
she shall be praised."
