Reflections on 2021

Written by Tanya "O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together," Ps. 34:3     A s I have reflected over this past year, I am in awe of God's faithfulness, care, and provisions yet again. Yes, our Lord is always the same yesterday, today, and forever; but, I continue to stand amazed as I see His hand and love in personal ways.    Back in  February, the Lord birthed a long-time vision to begin music recordings for our family. It has been our heart's desire for many years now, and in the Lord's beautiful timing, He saw fit to let the process truly take off this year. It has been a huge project as my precious husband, Ron, has invested and been the mastermind behind engineering it all. Our livingroom has turned into a portable music studio, and we have all grown accustomed to the words being sent throughout the house, "Going hot!" All becomes quiet--even down to the little ones, as those who are recording proceed and others turn to quiet pro...

It's Up!!!

By Elisabeth Yup! Got some good news, folks... The long awaited swing set is finally set up and  bringing much cheer to our back yard! That's how we spent the hottest week of the year... outside putting boards together. But, when you're working under the hot rays of the sunshine, you can't help but throw in some good ole' laughter when Anna brings out the journal with funny family memories! ;-) 'Tis indeed, the simple joys of life! Many hands make light work--that's for sure! We were so thankful for each other when it came time to hoist the deck and screw it in. Nothing like strong arms to catch a little girl's leap. We love big brother! "What do you think, Mandy? Is it done yet?"  After, waiting, sweating, figuring, working, and anticipating... ...Here is the new swing set--big family style! Many Hands Make Light Work

Not only does it leave everyone involved with a feeling of satisfaction, knowing they did their part, but it also builds relationships as each one learns to work together with the other members as a TEAM.  ~ T ogether   E ffectively   A ccomplishing   M uch ~ Teamwork involves more than one person ~ "Two are better than one; because they  have a good  reward for their labor." (Ecclesiastes 4:9)   Teamwork involves unity  ~ "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for  brethren  to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)   Teamwork involves learning . Usually, not everyone on the team has the highest knowledge of the job being accomplished. Sometimes, no one knows exactly how to go about the designated task.
