Our Family Mission Statement

We are a real family seeking to serve a real and living God. Our desire and mission is to magnify and glorify God in our everyday life at home, church and abroad. Our goal is to help families understand what their purpose and design is in regards to the family; recognize the enemy for who he is and what he is doing; and to point families, both saved and unsaved, to Christ as to become living pictures of Christ and His bride and of God and His children. As families are strengthened the church will be strengthened, therefore, being a brighter light to a dark and hurting world.

Let there be... Electricity!

For a quick update, just a few minutes ago we had our electricity come back on! :) Praise the Lord! The power companies have been working very hard to supply power back to the residents of OKC who had lost it. Even though it is not really a necessity for living, it sure is nice because of the conveniences it provides. :) Thank you to all of you who have kept us in your thoughts and prayers!

We are getting word that there could possibly be some more weather coming our way this afternoon and evening possibly presenting some large hail and strong winds as well as flash floods again. So we'll see how long we have the electricity back… Hopefully we don't lose it again, but we'll trust that the Lord knows what's best.

Coming up this next weekend is a family camping trip to Roman Nose State Park!

  1. I am so glad you all were kept safe. Our prayers were with everyone in Oklahoma City. We visited Moore two days ago and it was terrible.

I missed getting to meet you at Southwest Baptist, Anna. I believe we are about the same age. You have a lovely family!

    1. Hi Alicia! Yes, Praise the Lord for his safety and protection!

I was very disappointed to have missed personally meeting you, but was excited to hear about our families meeting! Hopefully our paths will cross again in the near future! But until then we will definitely have to keep in touch! :)

We'll be looking forward to reading/hearing how your trip went! Sounds like a lot of fun!
