Our Family Mission Statement

We are a real family seeking to serve a real and living God. Our desire and mission is to magnify and glorify God in our everyday life at home, church and abroad. Our goal is to help families understand what their purpose and design is in regards to the family; recognize the enemy for who he is and what he is doing; and to point families, both saved and unsaved, to Christ as to become living pictures of Christ and His bride and of God and His children. As families are strengthened the church will be strengthened, therefore, being a brighter light to a dark and hurting world.

Guess Who...

We are now approaching the arrival of our new little blessing, and would like your involvement as to guessing what it might be...but don't stop reading yet! There's something we must explain...

With all of our moving around that we have done in the past years, ALL of us girls are 'Okies' from birth, and each of our five boys have their own birth state: Josiah ~ Mississippi; Joshua ~ Oklahoma; Caleb ~ California; Joseph ~ Washington; and Daniel was no exception,"choosing" to arrive while we were on vacation, therefore claiming Arkansas as his territory.

So, with our family still residing on Oklahoma, the BIG QUESTION is:
Will this little one keep tradition???
Here's the result of our family poll taken a few nights ago from all those who had a legitimate guess:

Papa ~ BOY
Mama ~ GIRL
Anna ~ GIRL
Elisabeth ~ GIRL
Josiah ~ GIRL
Laura ~ GIRL
Christina ~ GIRL
Charity ~ GIRL
Joshua ~ GIRL
Joanna ~ GIRL
Caleb ~ BOY
Joseph ~ BOY
Sarah ~ GIRL
Carolyn ~ GIRL

In the comments below, we would be delighted if you gave your prediction!

  1. Hehe! Isn't this fun?! I guess a boy, just because that's what Hannah had. And I really thought she was going to have a girl! Excited to see this new little one! Praying for safety for your mom and the baby! The Peach Festival is this weekend. Ya'll going to come?

  2. I'm going with "boy". I think you will have your first OK boy. :)

  3. Now that the baby has arrived, I'm not surprised that it's a girl!
