A Season of Celebration

By Elisabeth
This whole season, from early November through late December, is filled with celebrations...celebrations of God's abundant blessings, celebrations of His Light and Love that was shared with mankind when He came so long ago, as well as celebrations of a few birthdays! Here is a catchup of our celebrations so far.
~ Happy Thanksgiving ~

Thanksgiving was celebrated with Mama's folks down south. It was such a blessing to relax and treasure the family God has surrounded us with.

This go-cart was a gift to us nieces and nephews years ago when we big ones were very small. Now, the younger ones enjoy the "old faithful"--with the exception that it required extra aid since it's motor had seen better days.

Daniel & Amanda are such a cute pair of playmates!

Daniel is trying out the fun ball-toss game built with coffee cans.
Caleb hones in on target practice.

 We love Aunt Ro-Ro!!!

(L) Josiah shows the boys how to handle those attractions.
(R) We were privileged to have a pilgrim in our presence for Dinner! :)

~ Birthdays ~

Papa received a funny birthday card from a dear sister-in-law :)

Charity got those stubborn candles that took quite some work to blow out...
again, from our dear aunt :)

~ Merry Christmas ~
Since we were not going to be together for Christmas, we celebrated with that side of the family early

Just the perfect gift for our dear Aunt:
"The most wasted of all days is the one without LAUGHTER"

 Mama with her wonderful parents

~ Another Birthday ~

Since Carolyn's birthday is so close to Christmas, we use that opportunity to do some of the fun holiday stuff that might, otherwise, get left out...

Like decorating 'gingerbread' houses!

It was fun having a few more little girls join us for this festivity

  Merry Christmas!!!

"We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners"
~ Psalm 20:5 ~
