Boat Rides

Sometimes the greatest joys in life are the ones that are spur of the moment! 

Such is what happened in our family when we found out that Papa suddenly had a free day and wanted to do something fun, other than "work on the house" :)

Our original short notice plan was to go kaiaking, but due to the turn of the windy weather for the worse, that options closed. So... we decided to use that change of plans as an opportunity for a quality investment into an inflatable family boat.

After the purchase, and a few more trips to the store for missing parts, and more ores, we launched into a few hours of shear fun, enjoying the water, the clear sky, even the wind...and just plain being together! 

Here are a few snapshots of that special day:

*Just don't leave them sitting in the hot sun for a couple hours waiting for "that perfect time" to distribute them. :)

Reflections on 2021

Written by Tanya "O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together," Ps. 34:3     A s I have reflected over this past year, I am in awe of God's faithfulness, care, and provisions yet again. Yes, our Lord is always the same yesterday, today, and forever; but, I continue to stand amazed as I see His hand and love in personal ways.    Back in  February, the Lord birthed a long-time vision to begin music recordings for our family. It has been our heart's desire for many years now, and in the Lord's beautiful timing, He saw fit to let the process truly take off this year. It has been a huge project as my precious husband, Ron, has invested and been the mastermind behind engineering it all. Our livingroom has turned into a portable music studio, and we have all grown accustomed to the words being sent throughout the house, "Going hot!" by Tanya Linzey  God  In Focus   At the start of this New Year, my husband and pastor of our church presented a theme for our church entitled, “Applying God’s Word”. He presented it through a message about “Vision” using the verse in Proverbs 29:18 which says, “Where there is no vision , the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. He then went on to explain that vision is beyond just us seeing but it involves hearing also. Back in the Old Testament in the days of the prophets and in 1 Samuel 3;1 it says, ”The Word of God was precious in those days, there was no open vision (meaning no message or direction from God.) Putting the two thoughts together, it basically means that without God’s Word the people perish!    God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. (Psalms 119:105) In the New Testament and in 2 Peter 1:19 God tells us that “We have a more sure word of prophecy; which is the word of God: whereunto, ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light
