Aqua-Adventures

Hey y'all! This is one place you should visit--Tulsa Aquariums.
It is full of amazing sea creatures and is super kid-friendly with all the hands-on exhibits.

We had such a blast recently. Put on some goggles and join our day under the sea!

Caleb especially has developed a passion for deep sea science. This was such a thrill to him.

Amanda wasn't so sure about a person in the fishtanks, but the rest of us were quite intrigued!

The stingrays

The Shark-Walk

Joseph holding a shark egg--looks more like a gigantic screw

Sort of what you may encounter if you ever find yourself at the bottom of the deep.

The Ozark exhibit was neat. We got up-close views of beavers, otters, and a raccoon.

Critters--large and small--that you may discover in a swamp or rainforest

This was a highlight--petting sharks and rays!

Joshua and Joseph--quite a dramatic experience :)

Joseph is one grand pro at dramatized expressions!

The more civilized (for now) groups.

An evening at our family favorite restaurant topped the evening off wonderfully!

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee;
and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee:
and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind."
~ Job 12:7-10 ~

  2. Hi there, Linzey family!! I really enjoy your blog! It seems that our families probably have much in common!

We just moved to a small town north of Tulsa, and since it looks like you've been there before, I was wondering if you could recommend any local churches to my family and I?

    Thank you for any help!

  3. Hello Kimberly! Thank you for "stopping by" and welcome to Tulsa! Yes, we do have some recommendations for good Independent Baptist Churches, one of which is Eastland Baptist Church, Pastor Troy Dorrell. If you have any more questions, feel free to send us a note in the "Drop Us A Note" box towards the top on the left sidebar of the page. We'll look forward to hearing from you!
