Many Hands Make Light Work

By Elisabeth

There is nothing like getting together with family and friends and accomplishing a task! Not only does it leave everyone involved with a feeling of satisfaction, knowing they did their part, but it also builds relationships as each one learns to work together with the other members as a TEAM.

~ Together Effectively Accomplishing Much ~

Teamwork involves more than one person ~
"Two are better than one; because they
have a good reward for their labor."
(Ecclesiastes 4:9)

Teamwork involves unity ~
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
(Psalm 133:1)

Teamwork involves learning. Usually, not everyone on the team has the highest knowledge of the job being accomplished. Sometimes, no one knows exactly how to go about the designated task. When there is unity, there is much greater potential for learning how to operate together to complete a given task safely and successfully.

~ The Playground ~
Recently, our family was blessed with a new play-set...well it was new to us. A park was updating to  bigger and better play ground equipment and we were blessed to purchase the old set. With that came the task of disassembling the old set so they could put up the new. We had the wonderful opportunity to put into practice our teamwork. We were also joyfully grateful for the aid of a few friends, as well as some cousins who were in town just long enough to lend their hands.

So sit back with a cup of cold lemonade and enjoy the work without the aches... :)

"Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him; for it is his portion."
Ecclesiastes 5:18
