An Irish Wedding

So, back down to Texas we headed for Mama's youngest brother's wedding. The Lord provided some wonderful accommodations for our family over the weekend through some wonderful, long time friends of ours. We had encouraging fellowship, and great food, thank you to the Dalton family! It was a very relaxing family vacation and visit to friends while we were there for the wedding.

The wedding theme was Irish, so all the groom's men wore kilts and the bride's maids wore an Irish maiden outfit. The Mothers of the bride and groom were dressed as queens, and Grandpapa took on the resemblance of an Irish Captain! The wedding was on the side of a lake in the evening, and the whole picture was stunning!

Our family got there quite a bit before the wedding, so we jumped in and helped as much as we could, while snapping a few fun shots in between :)

It was a beautiful wedding. Our prayer is that the Lord would continue growing this new family in His ways and that they would be moldable and usable for His honor and glory.

Praise the Lord for His protection in travel for everyone and we are looking forward to seeing them at the Guess family reunion! :)

  1. My thanks to whichever one of you took these lovely pictures! I had not seen some of these poses before, even though I have seen many of the pictures of those with cameras. These are lovely! Thank you!
