What You've Missed (catching up to now :)

Posted by Anna :)

Well, we are back after a brief, unintentional absence. Life has been a down-hill skiing slope, going faster and faster as the days fly by! But, thanks to our parents for having taught us to make the most of each moment, even spontaneous spots of time squeezed in here and there, we have still been able to capture some precious memories, and thought we would share a few with you.

Several months ago we were able to get a pass to the Science museum, and have enjoyed putting it to use. You can see here the different interests and responses through their expressions, but Papa is a captivating teacher, and this was right up his ally with electrical conductors and experimental inventions, so the crew had a great time exploring under his exuberayting leadership.

Over the summer, some of the girls had an experience with head lice... not necessarily the most exciting journey, but definitely some bonding time as they all shared the responsibility of combing each other's hair out almost every night for several weeks. This snapshot was taken during one of those episodes, but I thought it well expressed two different rolls of sisterhood :)

About mid summer the Lord allowed Elisabeth and I to take a road trip to the east coast so I could attend a Suzuki teacher training course in Washington DC. But it was also a good sharing time between Elisabeth and I, though we both were focused on different seasons of life and upcoming events. :) Through our travels, we were also able to visit several extended family members on Mama's side and had a wonderful time catching up on life with each other!

Bridesmaid Dresses

Soon after Elisabeth and I got back we began to dive right in to making the brides maids' dresses for the wedding, and the other more intense parts of wedding planning, shopping and preparation. The Lord has blessed and things are coming together speedily and smoothly. We are excited as the countdown is on and the finalizing details are almost done! Elisabeth and Nathan have done a great job working together and uniting their hearts as a team, and have Together Effectively Accomplished Much! Looking forward to seeing how the Lord uses them as they unite as one family unit and continue seeking the Lord together for the rest of their lives.

Dodger's Baseball Game

Our Church Choir was invited to sing at the Dodgers Baseball game again this year, and so we all made a grand church/college wide activity out of it. Another fun time with us all together!
 Fun Times with Close Friends

Continually growing in love :)                 The new couple, Nathan and Elisabeth, and
Mrs. Radfar snuck in as well :)
Me :) and Charity                                             All sisters in heart

Celebrating Daniel and Nathan's birthday together, as they fall just a few days apart! Fun times :)

Elisabeth finally got her driver's license! And Nathan was a good coach and most supportive encourager through the testing process :) They go good together!

Our "Twins" (R) are such cute playmates! They do everything together! Growing so fast and edging each other on in learning about life. These almost inseparable two are such a bright spot in our lives!
Our Newest Little Blessing  is due to arrive any day now! Please pray for smooth delivery and speedy recovery for Mama and Baby (L) as we excitedly welcome # 15 into our growing family!

Life continues to happen! School is an ever going process (above), and so are dishes (below)! Elisabeth did a masterful job stacking our stainless steel drainboard! In our family, dishes has become a work of art: See how small you can stack all the dirty dishes to save space on the counter, and see how efficient and high you can stack the drainboard after you wash them. :) There's always something you can get better at!

Amanda is a little sunbeam every day! This active and quickly growing little helper is ready and prepared to lend a helping hand to any activity she find herself in the middle of, even if it is house cleaning day! Here (above L) she is helping Christina clean the living room by making sure underneath the entry rug has been swept. :)

One of the many creative gifts of thoughtfulness and love from Elisabeth to Nathan
Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saint rejoice in goodness.
~ II Chronicles 6:41 ~
