Our father's friend, our mother's boy, The little children's smile, His sisters' hero, certainly; He goes "the extra mile". He's faithful and dependable, Humble and yet bold, His confidence makes us secure… …There's so much to be told! It's difficult to put in words All that we want to say, So here's some pics of what we did For our brother's birthday.    That day in March he went to work Quite ignorant of plans… But we had previously arranged To give lunch break a chance. So, when that clock struck half past noon, Six sibling made a dash, Left some to set the party up, While others, still with hush, Appeared at our dear brother's work-- Much to his great surprise-- And whisked him off to meet "the folks", ...

Family Fun in February

Posted by Anna We were told that some of the temperatures that came our way within the last few weeks were record breaking temperatures in the history of OKC, and just for your northerners up there who are looking on, 23*F during the day and 7*F at night is COLD!!! But, in spite of the possibility of us turning into ice-cycles, we managed to stay warm enough to have some fun :) Here are a few selections of some candid shots taken around here and there. Again, as stated before, most of the pics have narration. A Day at the Zoo!

Posted by Anna Last Monday our family was invited to join some friends at the zoo for their little boy's birthday, but Papa had some things that he needed to get done, so us kids decided to take all the youngsters and head to the Zoo for the better part of the day, giving space for undivided attention at home for Mama and Papa.  What a time we all had! It was an absolutely beautiful day, especially for a trip to the Zoo in the middle of January (69* F)! While we were waiting for our friends to show up, we all gathered in the middle of the Zoo entry (which is a painting of the world on the cement/tile ground that floors the entry: great fun for the little ones, and the big ones as well, to explore! We thrilled in practicing our geography! :) … And sang a couple songs: "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands", "God Likes People", "Happiness is to Know the Savior", and part of a song titled "I Believe" which was especially fitting for...
